If you’re like me, you struggle coming up with content for your Facebook group. I mean, you know you need to be consistent and post, but the thought of coming up with content every day can be exhausting! I was out for a walk when I had a major lightbulb appear. Theme weeks! I love throwing theme parties, so why not use a theme that lasts a whole week?
So then the question became- what to use as my themes? I knew I needed to answer this question. What could I talk about all week and not get bored? I’m not the traditional girl who loves to talk about fashion or makeup or shoes. As I thought about it, it came to me-stories- that is what I needed to focus on. I love stories. Whether it’s movies, books or TV shows, I can talk about them all the time and never get bored. Don’t believe me? Ask some of my former coworkers. We spent hours talking about Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Gilmore Girls.

At the beginning of my theme weeks journey, I flew by the seat of my pants. I knew that I could weave my products through the story (regardless of what my products were.) After all, I started with nail wraps and transitioned over to jewelry. But over time, I developed a planner. In an effort to get organized, I created something easy for me to fill out each week and gave me structure.
I’ve been using my theme week planner for almost two years now. I’ve made several tweaks over time. Now I run my themes on a schedule:
1st week: Marvel movie.
2nd week: TV show season
3rd week (if there are five Sundays): musical
4th week: Disney movie
5th week: book
Several of my friends asked me about using the planner so it’s available in my Direct Creatives store. So if you’re looking for a way to help keep yourself organized, head over there and check it out!
